  • Our client arranged conferences and training events around the UK. One of the biggest headaches the events team regularly faced was arranging transport to and from the events or training venues, constantly needing to source and manage new transport suppliers. They also had varied requirements having to move anything from a handful of delegates to hundreds of people for a single event.

 

Solution

  • Cabline proposed a fully managed booking service to encompass the client’s entire road transport requirements right through from taxis, minibuses, up to full size coaches. The client could book and track status of all bookings via the use of Cabline’s user friendly customer portal. For larger events Cabline organised coach hire and supplied transport co-ordinators on the day to ensure the event transport operated smoothly.

 

Results

  • Since using Cabline, the client saw an overall reduction in costs and a clear improvement in the reliability and punctuality of the services.  Cabline’s web booking portal enabled the end users to track and monitor all their bookings progress and status. Cabline’s 24/7 contact centre meant there was always someone on hand to answer any passenger queries and provide full service support for all of their bookings. Resulting in the clients staff being able to devote their time and energies on their core role and also eliminate time on out of hours phone calls.
